FillMate Pro ("the extension") is a browser extension that helps you save your personal details once and autofill them into web forms. This policy explains, plainly, what happens to your data.

The short version: FillMate Pro does not have a server. It cannot collect your data because there is nowhere for that data to go. Everything you enter is stored locally in your browser, on your own device, using the standard chrome.storage.local API.

What information the extension handles

You may choose to enter information such as your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, employer, job title, website, and social media handles, plus any custom fields you define. This information is used solely to fill web forms at your explicit request (clicking "Autofill" or the on-page fill button).

Where your information is stored

• All data is stored using your browser's built-in local storage, scoped to the extension.
• Data stays on the device where you entered it. It is not synced to any cloud service, Google account, or third-party server by this extension.
• No analytics, telemetry, or crash-reporting SDKs are included.

What the extension does on web pages

When active on a page, FillMate Pro's content script reads the structure of form fields on that page — things like field names, labels, and input types — to determine which of your saved details (if any) belong in which field. It does not read, log, or transmit the general content of the pages you visit, and it never touches password fields.

Data sharing

FillMate Pro does not share, sell, rent, or transmit your data to any third party, advertiser, or analytics provider, because it makes no network requests of any kind. You can verify this by inspecting the extension's source code — there is no fetch, XMLHttpRequest, or remote endpoint anywhere in it.

Your control over your data

• Export: you can export all saved data to a JSON file at any time from the Settings tab.
• Import: you can restore a previous export, e.g. after reinstalling or moving to a new computer.
• Delete: "Clear all data" in Settings permanently erases everything stored by the extension. Uninstalling the extension also removes all of its locally stored data.

Children's privacy

FillMate Pro is a general-purpose productivity tool not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from children, consistent with the fact that it does not collect information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for example, if a future version adds an optional cloud-sync feature — this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will reflect that. Any such feature would be opt-in and disclosed clearly at that time.
